- By-Laws (Revised): Reviewed By-Laws, including “Section 6 Electronic Voting”. Decision to table final approval until next meeting (11/14/19) to allow time for team to review suggestions by Chris D and for whole Board to approve.
- Nardine presented a brick as sample for potential patio and fundraising idea from “That’s My Brick”. Pamphlet provided to Vicky at last meeting – proposed to discuss at next meeting with more information present on funds able to be generated, timeframe to initiate, and method to share with public.
- Gate/Opening to property discussion:
- Concerns voiced on use of chains with low visibility potentially creating injury with bicyclists.
- Discussed various options, such as bike rack, planters, cable covered chain, etc.
- Discussed attachment of sign to “gate”.
- **Send any and all ideas to Matt Rischpater for review by November 6th. Matt will determine if feasible and will bring to next meeting.
- Sign Update:
- Chris A to create mock-up of sign and email to members for review prior to next meeting.
- Sign to include website, name, PO Box, tax ID # and be ~2’x3′ in size
- Logo Workshops: Chris A and Kim Torpey to run at Library in future to pull in Community Youth.
- Name: Discussed naming the property – fundraising opportunity, identifier more than NYC Property. Would like feedback on what name members think of when discussing the property, i.e.
- Discussed Little Library – on-site currently. Needs to be painted with sign placed to identify “Little Library” by Naples Rotary at NYC Property as well as moved to more permanent location in southwest corner of fencing. Will look at moving this Saturday if possible.
