- Treasurer’s Report:
- Balance $9,072.73 after $190 to Nadine and $56 to post office. Wilcox and Robotics are not yet paid. Vickie is approved to pay Wilcox. Vickie is approved to pay 568 to Jr Robotics.
- M Joseph owes us $190. Chris A to follow up with M Joseph.
- Decision: Insurance and Post Office payments do not need to be voted on by the board to pay. .
- Free hot dog event went well.
- We discussed the possibility of another fall event. No decisions are made. We discussed having a bonfire at Vintage & Vines. Janice will email us all with next steps.
- Fence install is this weekend. We discussed ordering some hardware “super post” for 2 removable posts rather than sinking them into the earth. Chris A has the next step to order super posts.
- Little library is done. It is mobile. We are deciding on painting and branding. David is taking lead on this. No logo for now. It gets painted white. Later we will add branding.
- Chris D asked if fence should be connected at SW corner. We decided no. Leave it as an opening.
- Access on North West corner. We discussed possibly erecting a post or bike rack to prevent trespassing on this corner of the property. Not all board members think we have an issue. Eventually we decided to defer this discussion for a month.
- We discuss David’s draft of the bylaws and agreed this was a good step. David and Chris A to form a bylaw committee.
- Fundraiser opportunity for St J 5k. Janice to consider after November meeting.
- Chris D shared a phase 2 proposal.
- Next meeting is Tuesday Nov 12th 6:30 PM. Chris A will find a location.
